“An Evening of Remembrance” for those who were lost in the 9-11-2001 terrorist attacks is planned at the Columbia Convention Center Tuesday, Sept. 11.
“We will commemorate the sacrifice and service of our South Carolina first responders and military,” organizer Dan Hennigan of Lexington said.
The memorial service begins at 5 p.m. outside the convention center at 1101 Lincoln St. in downtown Columbia.
