WHITE KNOLL HIGH SCHOOL

The 2nd annual “Basketball in the Bank” celebration will take place at 6:30 pm on Nov. 14 at White Knoll High School. The purpose of the event is to recognize all student-athletes in Red Bank and surrounding areas that are participating as basketball players during the winter sports season. Prizes, music, contests between teams and players and basketball will take place. This year’s celebration will include players from the Pelion and Gilbert area. Timberwolves head coach Devin Liferidge is encouraging those coaches to bring their players to the event. The cost is $1 and each participating team is requested to bring 1 canned good per player and coach as the White Knoll boys’ basketball team plans to adopt multiple families to feed for Thanksgiving. AIRPORT HIGH SCHOOL

The Airport High School Eagle Club will recognize the 2019 inductees into the Athletic Hall of Fame on Friday, Nov. 1. This year’s inductees are Ray Stackley (Class of 1969) and the late Raymond Hallman (Class of 1982). There will be a drop-in at 5:30 pm in the arena/commons area of Airport High School with the formal induction at 6:15 pm. The inductees also will be recognized during halftime of the football game.
