3 injured on Lake Murray

A tubing accident injured 3 people on Lake Murray Saturday. The accident occurred near the SCE&G Sunset Boat Ramp, according to Newberry County Sheriff’s Office. A boat was pulling 3 males about 20 years old on a tube when they hit a tree, Robert McCullough of the SC Department of Natural Resources said. 1 was airlifted and 2 others were transported to Palmetto Richland.
