Dylan “Dyl Pickle” Morton is new to show business.
But the 6-year-old Lexington boy will be featured on the National Down Syndrome Society’s annual New York Times Square jumbo screen video Sept. 14 – 2 days before his 7th birthday.
The presentation kicks off Down Syndrome Awareness Month.
Dylan’s parents are Toni Turbeville of Lexington and Adam Morton of Ohio.
The photographs highlight children, teens and adults with Down syndrome working, playing and learning alongside friends and family to promote acceptance and inclusion. The videos are a reminder of the contributions, accomplishments and value of people with Down syndrome.
Morton’s photo by Fiddle Leaf Media was selected from over 3,000 entries. His will be one of about 500 photos appearing in the Times Square video.
