For one night, a South Carolina favorite is coming home, and he’s bringing the party with him.
On Friday, Nov. 20 at 7:30 p.m., pianist and entertainer Mike Stone will celebrate a major milestone with his 40th birthday celebration concert at the Harbison Theatre at Midlands Technical College.
Stone, who entertained millions nationwide as a finalist on Season 6 of “America’s Got Talent,” will be joined by a lineup of special guest artists and friends for his debut at Harbison Theatre.
A native of Saluda, Stone has built a successful national career, performing and holding residencies in destinations including New Orleans and Key West. Audiences know him for his stage presence, musicianship and interpretations of classics. His sound blends R&B, soul, funk, jazz, gospel and contemporary influences.
Stone’s annual birthday concert in Columbia is a highly anticipated tradition for fans across the Midlands, and organizers say this year’s milestone edition promises to be the biggest yet.
“Audiences can expect an evening of powerful collaborations and extraordinary talent, from soulful ballads to high-energy showstoppers in a true celebration of friendship, music and community,” a news release says.
General-admission tickets are $30, with VIP tickets available for $40.
Students, seniors (60-plus) and military personnel will receive a $5 discount on Signature Series shows at checkout.
