LEXINGTON HIGH SCHOOL

•The Class 5A softball championship program will hold a 3-day camp June 17-19 from 8:30-10:30 am at the school’s softball field.

The camp is open for rising 1st through 7th graders and the fee is $75.

AIRPORT HIGH SCHOOL

•Nominations are being accepted through July 15 for the Airport High School Athletic Hall of Fame. The Airport High School Eagle Club established the Athletic Hall of Fame in 2004 to recognize the accomplishments of former athletes and coaches. In order to be eligible for the Athletic Hall of Fame, nominees must have graduated from Airport High School a minimum of 10 years prior to the current year.

Candidates may be male or female that excelled in any organized, competitive athletic events while at Airport. Athletic events, teams and/or activities to be included are: basketball, cross-country, track, football, golf, soccer, baseball, bowling, tennis, volleyball, wrestling, cheerleading, softball, athletic trainer (this list is not all-inclusive). Coaches of these activities will also be eligible candidates under different criteria from graduated student-athletes (GSA).

RIVER BLUFF HIGH SCHOOL

•The 3rd annual Coaches Wives’ Night Out will take place Aug. 9 at 5 pm at Radius Church at 300 W. Main St. in downtown Lexington.

This is an opportunity for fellow wives to congregate together. In addition to having vendors like Olive and Eve Boutique, Apothecary Soap Co., and Rustic Daisy on hand, dinner will be served as well.

Hope Radebaugh, the wife of Charleston Southern men’s basketball coach Barclay Radebaugh, and Tiffany Harker, the wife of Furman University men’s basketball coach Brett Harker, will serve as guest speakers.
