HARRIS TO COORDINATE BASKETBALL CAMPS

The Mount Horeb Basketball Coach, coordinated by Bailey Harris and his coaching staff, and for youngsters ages 6 to 12, is set for June 24-27 at the Mount Horeb UMC in Lexington.

The 4-day camp will include instruction and daily devotion and take place from 9 am to noon. The cost is $80 per camper and payment can be sent to - Coach Bailey Harris, 405 St. Claire Place, Lexington, SC 29072.

From July 8-11, Saxe Gotha Presbyterian Church will hold a youth basketball camp also coordinated by Harris.

The cost is $85 per camper and payment can be sent to the same address.

GRAY COLLEGIATE

The 5th annual Gray Collegiate Academy Golf Classic is scheduled for May 31 at the Indian River Golf Club in West Columbia.

Sponsored by the War Eagle Club, proceeds will be used to support Gray Collegiate Athletics.

The putting green opens at 11:30 am. Sponsorship opportunities for Hole In One ($950), Double Eagle ($450), War Eagle ($400), Birdie and Par ($100) are available.

Following golf, an informal gathering will take place at the clubhouse. Along with a 50/50 raffle, dinner and cash bar, there will be a silent auction.

Admission is $25 per person and it’s casual dress.
