Batesburg-Leesville High School Principal Sonya Bryant awarded the first-ever “Heart of the Panther” statue to graduating senior Hallie Keisler at the school’s commencement. The “Heart of the Panther” award, which was voted on by staff members, is presented to the senior student who demonstrates a love of B-L High School and possesses the character traits of loyalty, honesty, and courage.
The Town of Batesburg-Leesville is spraying for mosquitoes this summer. Spraying begins June 5 and will continue periodically throughout the season. Contact Town Hall to receive spray notifications
The Town recently held a forum for candidates running in the June 12 primary. The event was a huge success and sparked a lot of interest in the upcoming election.
