This week we celebrated my son Noah’s 6th birthday.
His dad, siblings and I had a lot of fun.
Having a birthday celebration was challenging due having to remain isolated because of covid-19.
Here are some things that you can do for an upcoming indoor birthday party:
• Treasure hunt – Make a “treasure chest” filled with gold chocolate or other candy. Even a shoe box works. Leave clues around the house to help find the gold.
• Indoor hopscotch – Use empty pizza boxes or large cardboard cut into squares. Use acrylic paints, tape and construction paper, glue sticks, puffy paints and bean bags. Have fun with it!
• “What’s in the bowl?”– Get a mixing bowl and a bag or 2 of uncooked rice. Collect small objects from around the house to blindfold and see who hide in the rice. Use a can guess the most amount of objects the the winner. fastest. Give a prize to
• Slime time! – You will need 3-4 cups of shaving cream, 1 tbsp saline solution, a sprinkle of baking soda, ½ cup of Elmer’s glue, small amount of baby oil, and 3-4 drops of food coloring. Mix all together and you have slime!
