The Cayce West Columbia Chamber of Commerce has a new Chairman of the board of directors.
Hayley Bowers of MB Kahn Construction has been involved with the Chamber since her company built the Innovation Center.
She and her 17-yearold son have helped with West Columbia’s Rhythm on the River event.
Tim James, Chamber President and CEO said, “Hayley is a breath of fresh air for us. She is politely tenacious in everything she does.”
James added that he is grateful for all that Bowers and MB Kahn are doing for the Chamber.
Bowers aims to help small businesses. She will have a committee to learn how best to help them. She also hopes to develop partnerships with big businesses. There will also be more emphasis on the 12,000 year History Park.
The chamber will hold regular training classes on business and networking. Chamber members will benefit from advertising in the Chronicle and on our social media.
“The fact is that 2020 has been a tough year but we are moving forward with positive ways to help businesses and the community is my goal” said Bowers.
