Spring not only brings daylight savings time, flowers and pollen, but also yard sales! One man’s extra items are another’s treasure! March 14, Seven Oaks has an indoor yard sale where you can sell or buy someone else’s stuff! The Spring Market at Crooked creek will be on March 21 8:30am-2:30pm. Call 803-345-6181 for information.

Calling all BBQ teams to help the Chapin Eagle Club raise scholarship funds in the “Cook your Butts off BBQ.” There is a cash prize for the first place winner. Call Richard Outzs at 803-920-8619 for details.

Lezza’s care connection presents the Senior Prom, The Gift of Time, with live music, food, and dancing April 3, 6:30–9:30 pm at the Union United Methodist Church’s family life center, 7582 Woodrow Street. Tickets are $25. For details, email leezasxareconnection.org .

Winter Jam 2020 is coming March 8 at the Colonial Life Arena. Get there early to stand in line to get a good seat. Only $15 at the door. Jamtour. com has information on those who will be performing. Doors open at 5 pm and the show starts at 6.

Saluda Shoals is hosting Art in the Park March 14 at 9 am. Participants will paint with an art instructor during a 1.5-hour session. Mediums and materials will range from canvas to wooden panels.
