Noted nauralist Rudy Mancke will host a tour of Granby Gardens Park on Saturday. Granby Gardens Park is at the Cayce Municipal Complex, 1800 12th Street. A 10 a.m. tour will be geared especially for children. Nature gifts will be provided to each participant. Children must be accompanied by an adult. A second tour will be at 1 p.m. Mancke will conduct a slow and leisurely guided tour throughout the park and the Cayce Museum grounds. Participants will see plants, animals and the geology of the area. The tours are free, but space is limited. Advance registration is required to join the tour. To register, call Cayce City Hall at 803-550-9520. Participants will meet at the museum parking lot behind the Cayce Historical Museum. Dr. Mancke has been seen on ETV’s NatureScene since its inception in 1978. His video field trips, broadcast nationwide, have earned him a legion of fans. Mancke’s infectious enthusiasm for natural beauty has made NatureScene a must-see in 100 markets nationwide.
