Microsoft founder Bill Gates has decided he can solve global warming by introducing an aerosol into the Earth’s upper atmosphere. It would cover the earth to reflect the sun’s rays and allow the earth to cool.
He is not prevented from carrying out his plan by any government authority.
What could go wrong? In April, 1815, Mount Tambora erupted in the largest volcanic explosions ever. By 1816, the earth experienced “the Year Without Summer.” Freezing cold weather was attributed to a “stratospheric sulfate aerosol veil.”
In New England and Europe, it snowed in June and July as ice froze lakes. Famine resulted since crops would not grow and disastrous flooding occurred in the south.
Diseases raged everywhere. More than 65,000 people died from typhus in Europe.
