The Greater Cayce-West Columbia Chamber of Commerce attracted more visitors to its Business Expo this year.
“The first hour we had more people come through this year than we had the whole time last year,” he added.
37 chamber members’ businesses were represented July 24 at the Blue Moon Ballroom on Meeting Street.
The annual expo each July highlights member businesses and encourages interaction with the community and between members.
“The goal for the chamber is to get as many new eyes in front of the vendors, who are my chamber members,” said Skipper.
He said he was satisfied with last Tuesday’s turnout.
Vendors engaged with visitors about the products and services they offer. Some businesses gave sample products to visitors.
Skipper said the expo helps Cayce and West Columbia businesses to reach prospects in the area.
“It’s a good opportunity for bigger businesses and mom-and-pops to get different sets of eyes on what they do,” he said.
