Chapin welcomes new pastor

The Reverend Joanna Carol Colley Gragg was installed Sunday as Associate Pastor at Mt. Horeb Lutheran Church in Chapin.

Pastor Ralph Hill presided over the installation. The sermon was delivered by Pastor Michael Price, Dean of the Heartland Conference.

Joanna Carol Colley Gragg grew up in North Carolina. She graduated from Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary with a Masters of Divinity in May 2018.

Her first career was as a teacher when she heard the call to ordained ministry. Joanna was called to Mount Horeb Lutheran Church as the Associate Pastor and started in July.

Joanna and her husband, Nathan Gragg, Pastor of Zion Lutheran Church in Lexington, have 3 sons, David, James and Jonathan.

She and her family live in Lexington and look forward to making more connections in Chapin.
