Charity adds mobility, rebrands self

Businesses aren’t the only ones who can fill new needs and change brands.

Mission Lexington is the new Lexington Interfaith Community Services name.

It is intended to be more understandable and descriptive of what it does, director Robin Bowers said. “Our Thrift Shop will be known as Mission Store.”

The new brand was a gift from Riggs Partners in West Columbia, through their creative marketing blitz.

A new food pantry will give Mission Lexington mobility to reach the hungry who lack transportation.

It is equipped with shopping carts, shelves of canned and other products, a cooler for perishables and pulled by a donated truck.
