The annual Community Thanksgiving service will be held at the Nazarene Church November 24. Details and time will follow.

Thank you to all the Pelion Ruritan members who placed a red, white, and blue wreath at the Pelion Ruritan Veterans Memorial in memory of our precious Benny. He was instrumental in the initiation, planning and development of this memorial. The memorial was very meaningful to him and he enjoyed taking his out-of-state visitors to view it. Benny will be missed by everyone who knew him.

Pelion Library will host technology training November 13 at 10:30 am for ages 18 and up. Registration is required. Story time will be November 13 at 11 am for ages 1-4 years. A legal clinic will be held November 7 at 6 pm. The topic will be Family Law. Get free legal advice about family court and issues that can arise in family court proceedings. This event is presented in partnership with the SC Bar Association. Yarn Art will be November 9 at 10 am for all ages. The Library will be closed November 11 for Veterans Day.

Powder Puff football sign-up will be held November 7 through 16, 11:15 am until 1:45 pm.

Varsity girls basketball scrimmage with Denmark-Olar will be November 12 at 5:30 pm. Varsity boys basketball scrimmage with Newberry Academy will be November 13 at 5 pm. Competitive Cheer AAA State Qualifiers at Colonial Life Arena will be November 13 at 6 pm.
