The department set up at the Chick-fil-A Saluda Point to raise money for Special Olympics athletics.
The Lexington Police Department raised over $7,856.00 in 2 days.
All donations benefit the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics to directly support the over 29,000 Special Olympics athletes in South Carolina.
“The Lexington Police Department has had a longstanding relationship with Special Olympics SC and the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics. These events with Chick-fil-A Saluda Pointe are always a success,” Lexington Police Chief Terrence Green said.
