Betty Jo Kleckley Corley and Edward Corley are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. They were married on October 26, 1958, at Zion Lutheran Church in Lexington, where they continue to be active members.

Betty and Edward are lifelong residents of Lexington. Betty graduated from Lexington High School and Cosmetology College. She worked as a cosmetologist before working in the kindergarten program for Lexington School District One, where she retired.

Edward graduated from Lexington High School and Clemson College. He worked in the Assessor’s Office for Richland and Lexington Counties and also with Ag-First Farm Credit of Columbia, where he retired. After retirement, he continued to work as a real estate appraiser with Rosen Appraisal Associates of Columbia.

They are very proud of their two sons and daughters-in-law, Douglas and Kris of Larkspur, Colorado, and Reggie and Heather of Lexington. They are equally proud of their 12-year old grandson, Brandon, and 9-year old granddaughter, Lauren.

They have been truly blessed with the joy of their lives together.
