The Gilbert-Summit Senior Center crafters have been busy making special Father’s Day crafts for Meals on Wheels recipients in the community. The crafters tell us they have made “Dad’s Bags,” which are brown lunch bags with colorful, artistic bow ties painted on them. Inside each bag they placed small, painted black rocks with “Dads Rock” painted in white. The bags are also filled with special treats and candy.

The crafters have created larger rocks with fire trucks and police cars painted on them to give to our local law enforcement and fire station personnel as a thank you for what they do for us.
