South Carolina Federal Credit Union has opened its first financial center in Lexington.

They, along with the Greater Lexington Chamber of Commerce, held a ribbon cutting ceremony and Grand Opening at 5075 Sunset Blvd., Oct. 9.

CEO Scott Woods welcomed the staff, board members, credit union members, chamber members and invited guests.

Woods said Lexington is a great place to be.

Lexington Chamber of Commerce CEO Otis Rawl welcomed them to Lexington and predicted that, because of the town’s rapid growth, they would need another in the not too distant future.

The attendees were treated to a light lunch and each received a gift bag.

SC Federal Credit union started in Charleston in the mid 1930s and has 22 branches in 11 cities in the state.
