The Lexington Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting at Nooch & Lalo, Lexington’s newest restaurant and bar.

The business opened in The Shoppes at Flight Deck, 109 Old Chapin Rd., Nov. 8. It’s a blend of American and Mexican cuisine.

The name came from childhood nick names for Nick Kole (Nooch) and Jose Para (Lalo).

Kole, who lives in Irmo, says he likes Lexington’s vibrancy and growth potential.

The owners say their food is bought from Lexington County farmers and meat suppliers and prepared fresh.

They say their staff is looking forward to providing Lexington with great dining experiences.
