Sophomore Hannah Os-mer received the award from among 900 contest entries across the United States as part of Next Gen’s PAYBACK Challenge.
Participants played the award-winning college finance game, then wrote a 250-word essay.
The Lexington 2 student was one of 2 recipients selected from South Carolina. All Honorable Mention winners will receive a $500 scholarship.
Next Gen Personal Finance provides financial curriculum to more than 25,000 participating financial educators in an effort to equip students with financial skills to succeed in the future.
