Thanks for mentioning the Facebook group Learn About Your D5 School Board in the Chronicle. We have quit endorsing candidates. No doubt we seek fresh blood for the Lexington Richland 5 school board, in hope for a board that more appreciates public participation and holds more transparency in contracting, procurement, and questionable fiduciary matters.

Now we invite all candidates to appear. On Mondays, we post questions of the week for them to answer. The group continues to post information it learns about school reentry, elections, and school board activities.

We have been criticized, hacked, and one administrator targeted but we will continue through the election.
