Dominion Energy South Carolina signed a Statement of Support for the Guard and Reserve during a special ceremony at its corporate campus Oct. 30.

With the signing of this Statement of Support, which is a US Department of Defense program, Dominion joins other employers in pledging its full support of employees in the National Guard and Reserve. Dominion Energy pledges to:

• Recognize, honor and comply fully with the Uniformed Services Employment and Re-Employment Rights Act (USERRA).

• Provide managers and supervisors with the tools they need to effectively manage employees who serve in the Guard and Reserve.

• Appreciate the values, leadership and unique skills service members bring to the workforce and encourage opportunities to hire guardsmen, reservists and veterans.

• Recognize and support their country’s service members and their families in peace, in crises and in war.
