So, how are your New Year resolutions going? I prefer to call them “life changes” instead of resolutions. I personally feel the need to eat more organic dark chocolate in 2020. Old habits try to creep back in your life to sabotage your plans to eat healthier, get more exercise, keep more organized, and other “life changes” for 2020. I encourage you to keep on focusing on what you started in 2020 and don’t give up so quickly!

Does your child love to build with Legos? The Green Charter School of the Midlands is hosting a building competition with the NAWIC Education Foundation January 18, 9 am-noon. The local NAWIC Chapter introduces children to the construction industry. Students ages K-6th grade are encouraged to create with Legos and to register by January 10. No matter how crazy the South Carolina weather is, the Irmo-Chapin Recreation Commission’s children’s theater is a good place to take your children. The play “Frozen Jr.” runs January 10-12 at the Harbison Theater. Tickets are $8. Call 803-345-6181 for more information.
