Food, fun at National Night Out

The IGA parking lot was filled with people at the National Night Out Against Crime. The Pelion Police and Lexington County Sheriff’s Department were well represented. Lots of free food, music, games and dancing in the parking lot. Thanks to Frank Shumpert for allowing the IGA parking lot to be used for this worthwhile event.

While cities across the country are trying to defund the police, our neighborhood is proud of our police and want to support them in every way. Chief John Rebolj always comes out to help with any community projects. The community is thankful for him and his commitment to our town.
