FOOTBALL IS BACK

A year after finishing runner-up in 8-man football, Northside Christian Academy is moving up to Class A 11-man football in its third season of existance. It will open play at Hilton Head Prep on Aug. 17. Three weeks later, the Crusaders will make their debut at their own recreational complex on the school grounds. They will play host to Dorchester Academy on Sept. 7. The 13 Chronicle Country schools in the S.C. High School League open preseason practice Friday. The 2018 Lexington Chronicle high school football edition will profile all 15 Chronicle Country teams and will be released Aug. 16.
