Lexington School District One has announced its policy for free and reduced price meals for children served in schools under the National School Lunch Program and the School Breakfast Program. Eligibility is based on income. Households must provide information based on income and other eligibility. Vist your local school for more information.
Pelion Library hosts preschool story-time on July 25 at 11 a.m. for ages 2-5 years. Everybody Needs a Rock storytelling program will be held July 20 at 10:30 a.m. Suzette Hawkins orchestrates a tale that will have you and the library rocking. This event is for grades K-5.
July 21 at 10 a.m. is Sushi for Every Day. This event is for ages 18 and up and is presented by Lin Ko. No raw fish will be used in this presentation. Registration is required.
July 28 is Yarn Art for beginner and advanced crafters ages 13 and up. TeenScene meets on July 26 at 6 p.m. Drop by and bring your groovy dance moves and burn off energy and bounce to cool beats with “Just Dance” on Xbox. This event is for grades 6-12.

Pelion Senior Center plays balloon volleyball July 20. Exercise daily, have lunch, and play games and puzzles.
