Most of us have seen pictures on the internet of people hoarding toilet paper. It has become harder to find due to hoarding. A big shout out to First Baptist Church in Gilbert. Last Saturday church volunteers gave out free toilet paper from 2:30 to 4:30 pm in their parking lot to anyone who drove through and wanted a roll. Thank you FBC.

Hope Binkley thanks everyone who donated non-perishable food to the Blessing Boxes. We recently wrote about the boxes that have helped feed families.

Due to the loss of jobs many are unable to buy enough food. Blessing Boxes are stocked with a variety. 2 boxes are located at Beulah United Methodist Church and Restore Hope next to the Gilbert-Summit IGA.

Hope said any donation is appreciated anytime at these locations.

How do you thank assistant principals during Assistant Principal Week when our schools are closed? Faculty, staff and students at Gilbert High did so by writing kudos on the GHS Facebook page. Rodney Craps, Brie Williams and Jennifer Steiner are assistant principals at GHS. A special graphic was designed on Facebook for them for all of the hard work they do for GHS.

Murray is a new kid on our block He is two months old and has beautiful blue eyes. He loves for people to hold and make over him.

Murray is a chocolate lab and new baby of one of our neighbors and their 4 children. The family requested their names not be published. During this time they wanted to get their children this special gift.

Cherokee Presbyterian Church of Gilbert invites you to worship with them via ZOOM. Rev. Rob Cely has instructions on how to use this app on their website and through requested emails. CPC also has live services on Facebook and YouTube and will offer drive-in services for those who do not have computers. During social distancing the church wanted to offer several options to worship. For information call 892-6740.
