Having held the track and field finals this past Saturday, SCISA will complete its soccer and softball tournaments this weekend.

The softball and baseball playoffs are set to begin May 15. This year’s district playoffs will only include 8 Upper and 8 Lower State teams.

The Silver Foxes were scheduled to face River Bluff Tuesday in The Swamp. Lexington closes out region play Monday at Chapin.

Meanwhile, it’s a 4-team race for the Region 5-3A playoff spots. Gilbert and Strom Thurmond are tied in the lost column, with Brookland-Cayce and Fox Creek a game behind. All 4 teams have 2 region games remaining.
