First Baptist Church of Gilbert is celebrating their 69th anniversary Sunday, Aug. 15 with a homecoming for former members and guests. After their 10:30 worship service a covered dish dinner will be served.

BEFORE SCHOOL begins, a Prayer Walk will be held in the Gilbert Community Park at 9 am Saturday, Aug. 14. Prayers will be for our schools, students, teachers and staff.

A PUBLIC HEARING was held this week at Town Hall for the 1st reading of a communication towers and antennas ordnance.

NO DATE has been set to resume the Hollow Creek Community Center meetings. Spokesperson Dale Swaygert tells us they hope to begin soon. Swygert said it depends on the new strain of virus.
