Honoring the LMC Volunteer Auxiliary

Posted

The Lexington Medical Center Auxiliary has volunteered to care for the patients and families served by Lexington Medical Center since 1970.

For 50 years, these individuals have selflessly contributed countless hours in support to the organization, helping tend to the needs of our friends and neighbors every day.

The Auxiliary has been a significant part of the story of Lexington Medical Center, and its members play an important role in making the culture so compassionate and so unique.

To honor the legacy of all those who have served before, are serving today and will serve in the future, the volunteers embarked on a special project to name and establish the Lexington Medical Center Auxiliary Serenity Garden.

This beautiful garden located just outside of the new North Tower atrium is designed to be a place of respite, quiet comfort and inspiration to those who visit here.

Do you have a volunteer who has been especially meaningful to you or a family member cared for at Lexington Medical Center? You can honor them through a donation to the Serenity Garden Fund.

All those who contribute a gift to the project and their honoree(s) will be recognized by name* in a special feature on the Foundation’s Donor Wall in the North Tower. Gifts may be made in honor or in memory of someone special to you.

To donate to the project, please visit www.lex-med.com/giving/donateor call the Foundation at

(803)791-2540.

*Anonymous gifts are also appreciated. Pledges may be made over time as well.
