On my 1st visit to the Museum of the Bible, I was not prepared for what I experienced.
The $500 million museum opened in 2017 just a few blocks away from the capitol in Washington D.C.
It was headed up by Hobby Lobby President Steve Green.
I must say that the museum is one of the most beautiful, impressive, state-of-the-art buildings I have ever seen.
Our group was there for only 3 hours, but I could have stayed all day. I loved seeing the Bible lifted up and honored.
The history of how the Bible came to be the No. 1 selling book and how it has impacted the world is truly amazing.
One of the highlights in the museum is the walk-through animated history of the world from creation to the coming of the prophesied Messiah.
You can:
• Test your knowledge of the Bible with interactive technology.
• See and compare how the Word of God has impacted the lives of people of differing cultures around the world.
• See a demonstration of the Guttenburg press.
• Visit a “Nazareth Village” to experience what life was like when Jesus walked
the earth.
• Watch a Jewish
scribe making an actual
copy of the Torah with
pen and ink.
In one room you are
asked to sit and make a
2-minute video for others
to watch on how the Bible
has impacted your life.
I gave testimony of
how much the Bible
means to me.
In Isaiah 55, God declares that His word shall not return unto Him void.
I encourage you to support and visit the Museum of the Bible.
