I’ve been mulling this over for several weeks. Media is looking for “eyeballs” and your paper keeps me reading and thinking! Plus editorials and writers “push back”, pressing issues which don’t want to be addressed by those who are in control.
Fellow subscribers of the Lexington Chronicle, take note, we are standing up to the woke-media, and politicians, supporting this paper. For less than $1 aweek, you can read quality writers and be better informed and uplifted by what you read, finding encouragement for daily living.
Yes, weekly newspapers are the answer to the dailies, which due to costs, run over $10 a week with little local content.
Taking weekly papers keeps you up with what is happening locally. This is a way to “push back” against the tide of imperialism by the large media sources.
The greatest benefit to the local weekly paper, is being reminded by the advertisers to eat and shop locally, which builds our economic vitality.
This is our home base. Let’s urge other friends to subscribe to a good paper!
