John Oldham, Plant Manager of Vulcan’s Lexington Quarry, provided a pizza lunch for Lexington County Fire Services Feb. 7. Members included those from Station 8 in Gilbert, Station 2 in Hollow Creek and Station 29 in Cedar Grove. Vulcan Materials Company began “First Responder Fridays” in 2018 to recognize First Responders in the communities in which they operate. The Lexington Quarry is Vulcan’s newest operation in South Carolina after opening in October 2019.
