Halloween is here and tonight is the last chance to load up on free treats. Red Bank Baptist on South Lake Drive will hold its Fall Festival 6 until 8 pm, with bounce houses, games, and lots of candy for the kids.
Lexington Church of God on Nazareth Road will continue its “Treat and Tell,” showcasing biblical stories while handing out candy and treats.
Friday night is the final home game of the season for the White Knoll Timber-wolves varsity football team, and it will be a tough outing as they host undefeated, three-time defending state champs Dutch Fork. An upset of the Silver Foxes would be huge, and get the Timberwolves another week of play as they would qualify for the region playoffs with a win.
In Red Bank business news, they have broken ground and are doing site prep on a parcel of land next to Aldi, across from Wal-Mart. Reports are that it will become a Starbucks and have room for one other tenant. If you want good coffee now in Red Bank, check out the little Grace Coffee camper trailer next to Pelican SnoBalls, behind Advance Auto. It is locally owned and operated and the coffee is really good.
