Lexington Chamber recognizes individuals, businesses for contributions to Lexington County

The 2024 Lexington Chamber Awards & Annual Meeting recognized Lexington County professionals integral to this area’s success.

The event took place on Aug. 29 at the DoubleTree by Hilton on Bush River Road in Columbia.

Four individuals and two businesses were recognized with awards at the event, not to mention the chamber’s recognition of multiple other Lexington County entities essential to the county’s professional growth and success.

Lindsey Miles earned female Young Professional of the Year.

Miles, 34, is president and owner of The Miles Allstate Agency and has been a chamber member since 2014 when she was with Nephron prior to leading The Miles Agency.

Nick Annan earned male Young Professional of the Year.

Annan, 38, is the director of Elliott Davis, a CPA firm, and has been a chamber member since 2015.

Daphne Freeman earned Ambassador of the Year.

Freeman of JAN-PRO Cleaning and Disinfecting has a dedicated history of growing the chamber.

Robin Bowers, executive director of Mission Lexington, earned the prestigious Mike Till Impact Award.

According to the nomination form, “This award is given by the Lexington Chamber & Visitors Center in memory of Mike Till, a past chairman of the Chamber’s Board of Directors, who was a beloved leader in the Lexington business community. Presented to an individual who best exemplifies Mike’s character of humility, friendliness, perseverance and civic engagement, the award will be bestowed at the Chamber’s Awards Luncheon on August 29, 2024.”

Total Comfort Solutions earned Large Business of the Year and Todd Realty Partners earned Small Business of the Year.

Longtime business Riley’s Drugs was also recognized, as it celebrates 100 years in business.
