Lexington chili cookoff Feb. 21

Posted

The 7th annual Lexington County Chili Cook-Off, presented by the Old Mill Brew-Pub and Lexington County Blowfish will be Sunday, Feb. 21 from noon to 5 pm.

It will be inside the new Icehouse Amphitheater Pavilion.

It will be large enough for food and beer vendors and lots of other good and exciting stuff you’ve come to expect at Icehouse events.

This will be an open-air pavilion with big overhead fans for the summer and outdoor heaters for the winter.

The cook-off has become a signature event each February in Lexington as businesses and restaurants from across the county compete for judges’ and the public’s votes.

Freeway Music bands will once again be performing on stage throughout the day.

Those who want to showcase your favorite chili recipe, email John Clinger of the Old Mill BrewPub at john@oldmillbrewpub.net to register your cook team by Feb. 12.

Tickets are $10 at www. goblowfish.com . Proceeds benefit Lexington County charities.
