Lexington National All-Stars headed to World Series

This past Saturday night at Lexington County Baseball Stadium saw the Lexington County Blowfish recognize some “heroes” on the diamond.

The Lexington National All-Stars won the District 4 and state Coaches Pitch championships, going 10-0 and outscoring their opponents by a 94-22 margin.

The team members are Evans Herndon, Hamp Watts, Connor Golden, Mason Iser, Easton Crocker, Hunter Britt, Tate Dorr, Finn Hazerigg, Patrick Norris, Brady Hawn, Alex Clamp and C.J. Long. They are led by head coach Chris Norris and assistants Blake Britt, Shane Watts, Justin Crocker.

Up next is the Dixie Youth Division I World Series in Ruston, La. starting July 26. The Lexington Nationals are currently raising funds for the trip and have posted a GoFundMe page. Click on the link https://www.gofundme.com/f/lexington-allstars-are-headingto-state to make a contribution.
