LMC Foundation touches many lives over the summer

Posted

The Lexington Medical Center Foundation welcomed 63 healthcare students and their guests to the annual Healthcare Scholarship awards luncheon on Friday, July 19. Lexington Medical Center employee Victoria Geddings was also honored with the Dr. and Mrs. Charles Crews Scholarship Award. Congratulations to the 2019 Partners Program graduates! 60 rising juniors and seniors from Lexington County high schools participated in a three-week long intensive summer internship experience, where they learned first-hand about healthcare professions and patient care at Lexington Medical Center. Many of our past participants now serve as dedicated healthcare professionals at Lexington Medical Center. We would like to thank our funders who make this experience possible - Bank of America, Colonial Life, and the Nord Family Foundation.
