LMC’s Wine on the River Aug. 21

Lexington Medical Center Foundation’s annual Wine on the River will be at the West Columbia Riverwalk Aug. 21 at 7 pm.

The annual event features live music, wine, craft beer and food, all included in the ticket price.

Proceeds benefit the foundation’s “Linda’s Love” fund which provides emotional and psychological support for patients and families at Lexington Medical Center.

“Wine on the River supports a cause that benefits many people in our community,” said Amy Lanier, foundation executive director.

You will need to show proof of covid-19 vaccination to attend. Organizers will offer a rapid pass checkin for individuals who provide proof of vaccination in buying tickets online.

Vaccination cards will be checked for those not preapproved at the registration desk.

Guests will be required to show valid identification to confirm they are of the legal drinking age of 21.

Capital City Catering will cater the around the world culinary tasting and wine pairing for the event, in addition to SC based breweries providing craft beer. There will also be sangria and a special mocktail for guests to enjoy.

The event is at 121 Alexander Road in West Columbia.
