The SC Chamber of Commerce has elected Lexington resident Lou Wood Kennedy as board chair. Kennedy and her husband Bill own Nephron Pharmaceuticals and live on Lake Murray. She is a Lexington High School and University of South Carolina graduate. With her husband, she helped establish the Kennedy Pharmacy Innovation Center in conjunction with the USC School of Pharmacy. She serves on a variety of business and civic boards.
