LEXINGTON–Mark Edward Cook, 58, went home to be with the Lord May 15, 2021. Born February 22, 1963 in Greenville, SC, he was the son of Edna Huff Cook and the late John A. Cook.

Mark enjoyed art, listening to music, fishing and riding his Harley Davidson. His favorite motorcycle ride was down Calks Ferry Road across Black Creek Bridge. Mark loved his entire family and spending time with them, especially his three sons which were the light of his life. He spent a number of years living with and caring for his Mother and in turn, she took care of him during his devastating illness.

Surviving are his Mother, Edna Huff Cook, his three sons, Zackery Taylor Cook, Nickolas John Cook (Ashley) and Richard Mark Cook; his former loving wife, Amy Taylor Wilson (Robert); his brothers, John Keith Cook and Lemuel Jackson Cook (Janice); his sister, Tammy Cook Finch (Mike) and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 Sunday, May 23, 2021 at Calvary Baptist Church, Lexington, SC. Memorials can be made to Compassionate Care Hospice, 100 Ashland Park Suite B Columbia, SC 29210. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel is assisting the family.
