The annual 18-hour, online giving challenge raised $3,321,683 from 22,477 individual gifts.
Hosted by Central Carolina Community Foundation, it was the largest amount and most donations the online giving event has ever had.
The money will help 416 non-profits overcome the impact of covid-19.
In the 7th annual event last Tuesday, May 5, had the highest number of participants to date.
“We are extremely grateful for the thousands of everyday philanthropists who came together virtually to support our community during the pandemic,” said Joann Turnquist, president and CEO of Central Carolina Community Foundation.
Since its inception in 2014, CCCF has raised more than $12.6 Million for local non-profits.
