Multiples of the Midlands will host its bi-annual consignment sale 7 am to noon Saturday, Aug. 17.

The event will be held in the Health and Wellness Center at Brookland Baptist Church, 1066 Sunset Blvd., West Columbia.

The M.O.M. (Mothers of Multiples) Sale will feature gently-used items for children at a fraction of the cost parents would pay for the same items purchased new.

A gymnasium full of merchandise will include toys (preemie through size 14), shoes, equipment, books, entertainment needs, feeding essentials, cribs, toddler/ twin beds, changing tables, and rockers/gliders. Items are closely examined by the event’s quality control inspectors before being offered for sale.

“Parents of multiples are aware of the high cost involved with raising children,” co-chair Cynthia Guy-ton told ColaDaily.com.

“This sale is a great way for families to save a lot of money on the items that are necessary on a daily basis.”

Funds raised from the sale will support the activities of the MoM Club, a non-profit.
