In Batesburg-Leesville, Lancer Shull (641 votes) was re-elected as mayor, fending off a challenge from Town Councilman Steve Cain (316). In the municipality’s Town Council races, District 5 Councilwoman Shriley Mitchel (22) defeated challenger Kevin Duggins (16).

In the Lexington Town Council race, incumbents Steve Baker (674), Todd Carnes (727) and Ron Williams (789) outpaced challenger Lachin Hatemi (282) for the three seats on the ballot.

In West Columbia City Council District 1, incumbent Mike Green (185) defeated challenger Pete Fisher (93). District 3 Councilwoman Casey Hallman (30) defeated challenger Joe Fitzgerald (10).

In the Swansea Town council races, District 1 Councilwoman Linda Butler (39) defeated challenger Thomas Dease Jr (16), while Jerome Williams (41) defeated Susanne Hackett (12), mother of mayoral candidate Hunter Hackett.

In the races for Cayce City Council, District 1 Councilman Tim James (267) defeated challenger Karen Dawkins (94), and challenger Hunter Sox (117) unseated District 3
