The 2018-19 Lexington County Peach Queen pageant was held prior to the 4th of July Peach Festival in Gilbert. We want to congratulate the new 2018-19 Peach Queens. Throughout the year they will represent the Gilbert community in parades and other events.

Winners of the Lexington County Peach Queen contest are: Miss Lexington County Peach Queen Cicely Deatrice Wise, daughter of James Generette and Janice Wise of Batesburg-Leesville; Miss Teen Peach Gabryelle Savanna Martin, daughter of Bryan and Lynn Martin of Lexington; Miss Young Peach Allyson Avayou, daughter of Alan and Kathryn Avayou of Lexington; Miss Petite Peach McKenna Reagan Myers, daughter of Bryce and Carlee Myers of Lexington; Miss Little Peach Peyton Ainslee Hendrix, daughter of David and Heather Hendrix of Swansea; Miss Wee Peach Paisley Allyn Hendrix, daughter of David and Heather Hendrix of Swansea.

Other pageant winners included Master Peach Gunner James Rieth Piszcz, son of Nicholas and Jennifer Piszcz of Lexington. In the boy division winners ages 25 months to 4 years, the winner is William Eli Snelgrove, son of Micheal and Jenny Snelgrove of West Columbia; 2nd runner-up, Maddox Christopher Moody, son of Matthew and Kayla Moody of Lexington; and 3rd runner-up, Mark Edward Carroll, son of Doug and Samantha Carroll of Lexington.

In the girl division from birth to 12 months, winners are Kyndall Rayne Johnson, daughter of Jeremy Johnson and Amanda McKay of Batesburg-Leesville; 2nd runner-up, Amelia Velez, daughter of Josdin and Adrienne Velez of Lexington; 3rd runner-up, Scarlett Senn, daughter of Sean and Tearsa Senn of Lexington.

Girl Division ages 13 to 24 months: winner Addison Grace Greene, daughter of Tyler and Morgan Greene of Gilbert; 1st runner-up, Lennon Dorothy Talty, daughter of Brendon and Jennifer Talty of Lexington; 2nd runner-up, McKenna Brooke Kyzer, daughter of Josh and Becky Kyzer of Batesburg-Leesville; 3rd runner-up, Chloe Carlene Drafts, daughter of Jeromy and Brittney Drafts of Batesburg-Leesville.

Girl Division ages 3 to 4 years: winner Naomi Stella-Grace Mills, daughter of Amber Sease of Gilbert; 1st runner-up, Stella Grace Johnson, daughter of Robert and Charley Johnson of Batesburg-Leesville; 2nd runner-up, Blakely Elizabeth Mattison, daughter of Brad and Katie Mattison of Lexington.

Congratulations to Gilbert High School student Gracie Howard, winner of the High School Girl’s Division at the SC National Archery in the Schools State Bullseye Championship.
