MTC Nursing and Health Sciences graduates receive pins

Posted

More than 150 Midlands Technical College (MTC) nursing and health science students received their professional pins for completing their academic programs and passing their national board exams.

“The professional pins demonstrate how prepared our healthcare graduates are to meet the growing and changing demands of the healthcare industry,” said MTC President Dr. Ronald L. Rhames. “When you walk into a hospital, doctor’s office, or dentist office, you are surrounded by professionals who got their skills at MTC. I’m proud of every one of them.”

MTC nursing graduates typically have more than a 90 percent first-time pass rate on their national board exams, and a 94 percent job placement rate after graduation.
