Do you believe in witches, hexes, spells and superstitions?

Many in Lexington County believe in them or have heard stories about them from parents and grandparents.

The Cayce Museum and Lexington County Museum plan a special evening at the Cayce Museum’s Visitors Center Thursday Aug. 19 at 6 pm at 1800 12th Street, Cayce.

JR Fennell, director of the Lexington County Museum, will discuss the bizarre history of the Weberites and the superstitions shared by Saxe Gotha and Dutch Fork settlers.

Masks will be required inside the building. The public is invited.

For more information, call Andy Thomas at 803-739-5385.
